Ingredients:
1kg calamari cut in rings
1 big onion
2 cloves garlic
50ml white wine
1/2 lemon juice
1 handful chopped cilantro (optional)
1/2 teaspoon ground red pepper
Salt to taste
Preparation:
- Slice the onion into half wedges and fry until soft and transparent
- Add crushed garlic and calamari and continue frying
- When calamari rings are ready (they will change color becoming whiter), pure white wine and wait till it will evaporate
- At the end sprinkle calamaris with lemon juice, salt and red pepper
- If you are adding cilantro, add at the end
