Super Easy Cured Salmon

This super easy cured salmon is very very tasty. It is ideal for poke bowls, sushi, nigiri or sashimi. It is also wonderful for my favorite salmon/cream cheese omelet. The same curing can be done with any fish. I am impatient to be in Armenia and try the same with Armenian trout -ishkhan.


1 piece of any size salmon

Sea Salt


  • In a fridge storage container place thick layer of the sea salt and place salmon
  • On the top again place a layer of seas salt
  • Refrigerate for 4 hours.
  • Than wash it and place in a clean container. Consume during 3 days

*- don't forget the fish in the fridge)))) Salt is taking away water, it will become too hard.
