Meat Pie


1 squre sheet puff pastry

300g minced meat (it can be both cooked and uncooked)

1 big onion

Oil to fry

Sea salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste


  • Chop onion and fry in a pan until tender and transparent
  • Add minced meat, add cook it until ready
  • Add salt and pepper
  • Put the pastry on a baking sheet, place the filling in the middle of the pastry
  • Cut the edges of the pastry and fold the pie, as it is shown here
  • Apply egg wash over the folded pie
  • Bake at 180C about 25 minutes, until the top of the pie is rouge and looks crunchy.
